Mule Deer Hunting in Texas

Texas Outlaw Outfitters offer just a few trophy mule deer hunting trips each year. Trophy mule deer are really getting hard to find these days. That is why we only allow a select number of mule deer to be taken each year here at Texas Outlaw Outfitters. If we don't feel like we can truly offer a chance at a big mule deer buck, then we won't waste your time. We would rather take fewer hunters and give them a better chance at a trophy than push through more hunters than we should. 

The mule deer are not as aggressive as our whitetail deer, but we are starting to see both live side by side here in the Texas Panhandle. 

It is not uncommon for our mule deer to weigh over 250lbs. These trophy mule deer bucks can have a spread of 20-25 inches, can have 8 points or more, and have plenty of mass.  We will tell you what we have been seeing. Remember to bring your walking boots for this hunting trip; these mule deer love to travel.

There are not many places in North Texas where a guy can go to one place and hunt and see everything he's looking for. There has never been and will never be an over-hunting problem here. Just like any landowner, We pride ourselves on the condition of the land and the wildlife that roams it. That being said, we only take a select few hunters each year. Texas Outlaw Outfitters provides a guided one-on-one hunting trip although, if you are experienced enough to hunt on your own, you are more than welcome to do so.

    Mule Deer Rifle Season November 18th. thru Dec. 3rd.
