The Best Kept Secret in Northern Texas:

Being a website developer who specializes in hunting-related websites, I have worked with and hunted with many different outfitters and guides. I know a good one when I see it. Richard Naron and Texas Outlaw Outfitters are one the best outfitters I have had the pleasure to hunt with. Don't be fooled by the name! They are honest people who are willing to do everything they can to provide a great hunt. Many outfitters over hunt their properties, fill you with empty promises, and stretch the truth about amount of land, opportunities, quality of game, etc... Mr. Naron was nothing but honest about his operation and quite frankly, the hunt was better than expected. The land is far from over hunted. These guys put their heart and soul into their hunting operation and I'm proud to say it.

My brother and I hunted with Texas Outlaw Outfitters in early November of 2006. Although the Texas weather was very hot, we both seen and had an opportunity at a trophy bucks. I harvested a 150 class buck and he missed an opportunity at a 180+ class deer. He ended up taking a nice 9 point on the last day. The other guy that was in camp with us ended up taking a nice ten point as well (not sure what that one scored).

Another big plus to this hunt is the abundance of other game that we seen such as, Rio Grande turkeys, hogs, and coyotes that seemed to be everywhere! Any one of these things were well within range almost everyday. If you want a exciting hunt give these guys this outfitter a try! Texas Outlaw Outfitters was the most exciting hunt that I have been on and because they have great deer that are not over pressured, not to mention all the other different game that you get to see and have an opportunity to shoot. Most outfitters won't let you do that. I'll be back next year and I can't wait! In fact, I'm passing up 4 other hunts this year to go on this one again this year.

Texas Outlaw Outfitters features quality equipment. Many of their ladder stands are double ladder stands with rails. They also offer box blinds. Having a rifle, I felt very comfortable in all places partly because of a good rest. They have new or newer equipment (Rhino and ATVs) that we used to get where we needed to go.

There are many places I can deer hunt all over the county, but I enjoy this outfitter and the operation they have. There is no other outfitter that I have seen that takes care of and cares for their hunters success like Texas Outlaw Outfitters.

Thanks so much guys you ARE the best!

"This was one of my best hunting experiences. The country is beautiful, the people are great and you have a very good opportunity to take a buck of your dreams. The deer have a larger body size than you would expect from a Texas hunt and a rack to match. Richard will work hard for you and is a man of his word and will do what ever it takes to make your hunt a success and memorable. I am looking forward to going back."

Dear Outlaw Outfitters I would first like to thank the Naron family for showing me such great hospitality and kindness. I would also like to thank Drew for sharing his knowledge of the whitetail deer and ranch, if not for him I may not have been as successful. Now I would like to tell the readers about my time at Texas Outlaw Outfitters. When I first arrived I was greeted with smiles and handshakes. I was then given a tour of the ranch and the stands that I could hunt, giving me options for just about any hunting situation that could come up. Now bear in mind this was Thanksgiving day!! The next day I started my hunt and spotted dozens of hogs and many whitetail deer but nothing worth taking. That evening the Naron family brought me into their home and had a Thanksgiving meal prepared, making me feel as if I where back home with my family. On my second day in a hunting show television crew showed up. I was now thinking that I would be playing second fiddle to the TV crew, but guess again to my surprise, I was given first choice of hunting stands and was taken care of as well as the TV crew. I had hunted for three days with no luck I had seen many whitetail deer and hogs but was unable to take a shooter. On the fourth day, minutes before stepping out of the stand a nice 10 pointer walked out of the brush. After four great days of hunting I was able to harvest the biggest buck that I have ever taken both in body size and rack. What a great feeling!!!! All I can say is if you want a great hunt with great people look no further, the Naron family and Drew have what you are looking for.
