Rio Grande Turkey Hunting in Texas

At Texas Outlaw Outfitters, we offer turkey hunting in Foard and Hardeman County, Texas. These two counties are adjacent to one another. The land here is truly a turkey hunters paradise. Our Rio Grande turkeys can weigh up to 30lbs. Some of the birds have a 12'' or larger beard. With little pressure, a hunter will be calling on birds that have had little or no calling pressure at all. 

No turkey hunting is done during our deer seasons. With food plots, water, and a lot of corn for our deer, these Rio Grande turkey are sometimes a problem for us due to their large numbers. There's nothing like seeing a long bearded Tom strut during the spring season. 

Turkey hunting prices are based on a set rate for each day, depending on whether or not you need to be guided. There are no minimum number of days that you can hunt turkeys with us. You can choose from a guided one-on-one hunt or do it yourself and we'll take you to the turkeys. The maximum amount of Toms a hunter may take is 2. 

One thing is for sure--you will experience nothing but the best in wild turkey hunting that Texas has to offer. Who knows, you might even find one of those huge whitetail antler sheds along the way or a rattle snake or two.

There are not many places in North Texas where a guy can go to one place and hunt and see everything he's looking for. There has never been and will never be an over-hunting problem here. Just like any landowner, We pride ourselves on the condition of the land and the wildlife that roams it. That being said, we only take a select few hunters each year. Texas Outlaw Outfitters provides a guided one-on-one Rio Grande turkey hunting trip although, if you are experienced enough to hunt on your own, you are more than welcome to do so.

TEXAS RIO GRANDE TURKEY HUNTING DATES:

    Shotgun or Bow Rio Turkey Hunting (Spring Season) March 31st. thru May 13th.

HUNTING RATES:

Turkey Hunting with Bow or Shotgun: 
Dates are April 4 thru May 17
$700. for 2 toms
$50 for wild hog (optional)
$100 per day for guide if needed

These hunts are 3-day hunts - We have 7 hunts per season - groups up to 4 - Come in on Thurs. and Hunt Fri, Sat, and Sun
